Move from Edgewonk to PropFundHub

Export your Edgewonk journal and upload the Excel file as it is to import every trade in one step. What carries over and what doesn't.

This guide moves your trade history from Edgewonk to PropFundHub in one upload. It takes about a minute. You do it once; after that, your broker can sync new trades.

What you need
Your Edgewonk login, and a PropFundHub account. No account yet? The import link below signs you up and brings you straight back to the import page.

Step 1 — export from Edgewonk

These steps come from Edgewonk's own help pages:

  1. Open the Journal tab in Edgewonk.
  2. Press the export button. Edgewonk saves an Excel file.
  • Edgewonk's help center says notes and screenshots are not part of the export.
  • Upload the Excel file (.xlsx) as it is — PropFundHub reads the first sheet. Saving it as CSV first also works.

Step 2 — import into PropFundHub

  1. In PropFundHub, open Import & sync in the sidebar and choose the Import tab (or go to /import).
  2. Under Destination, keep Upload to my account selected.
  3. In Switching from another journal?, click I'm moving from Edgewonk. This tells PropFundHub which file to expect.
  4. In 1. Upload your export, drag your file onto Drag and drop your CSV or Excel file here (or click it and pick the file). CSV, .xlsx and .xls files all work.
  5. Check Platform. If you skipped step 3, it says Looks like a Edgewonk export when the file is recognised. If it is wrong, pick the right one in the list.
  6. In Import into account, pick the prop account these trades belong to, or + New account… to create one. If the file holds several accounts, you get a 2. Match accounts step instead: for each account in the file, pick a PropFundHub account, + New account…, or Skip. Names we recognise are matched for you.
  7. In Times in this file are in, pick the time zone your old journal shows times in. Not sure? Leave My time zone (this browser) and compare one trade after import.
  8. Look at Review and import. Check the first few rows: symbol, side, prices and P&L.
  9. Click Import N trades. When it finishes you see Import complete with trades imported, rows skipped (and why), the date range, the accounts found in the file and where each account went.

Shortcut: open the import page with Edgewonk already selected. No PropFundHub account yet? The link signs you up first, then brings you straight back to the import page.

Account / portfolio nameOne account: trades go to the account you pick. Several: you match each one to a PropFundHub account (or skip it)

What doesn't carry over:

  • Screenshots, chart images and attachments.
  • Daily journal pages, ratings and custom fields that are not in the export.
  • Open trades (import them after they close).
  • Account balances and settings. Create the account in PropFundHub instead.

Tips for Edgewonk files

  • Edgewonk exports an Excel file. Upload it as it is: PropFundHub reads .xlsx and .xls files and uses the first sheet that has data.
  • Prefer CSV? That works too: open the file in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets and choose Save as / Download → CSV.
  • Edgewonk says notes and screenshots are not in its export, so they can't come across.
  • Excel dates and times are read from the cells themselves, so the date format of your Excel doesn't matter. In a CSV, European files with semicolons and decimal commas (1,2955) are read correctly, and dates like 13.03.2025 are read as day first.

Duplicates

You can import the same file again, or a newer file that overlaps the old one. Nothing is counted twice.

  • PropFundHub compares each trade with your journal: same symbol, side, open minute, close minute, prices and size.
  • A match is marked already imported in the preview and is not added again.
  • This also works against trades that came in from broker sync, the extension or the NinjaTrader add-on.
  • It does not match if the old journal wrote the symbol differently (for example ES instead of ESH5). Check the preview if you also sync the same account live.

What to do next

  1. Set your firm rules. Open Accounts, pick the account, then choose your prop firm and program. Daily loss, drawdown and target are then tracked. See Create your first account.
  2. Connect your broker. Open Import & sync → Connections so new trades arrive on their own. See Connect broker (Auto Sync).
  3. Review your trades. Open Trades. Your notes, tags and setups are there.
  4. Check your rule status. See Challenge tracker.
